Seasoned Lemon Halibut
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
Directions:
1. *If using spices* combine all spices into a small bowl
2. Squeeze 1 lemon juice into a separate bowl
3. Cut other lemon in half
4. On a plate drizzle the halibut with your olive oil (or any oil will work)
5. Sprinkle spices or Kevin’s Seafood Seasoning on each side of fillet
6. Place a small amount of oil in a pan and turn on high
7. Place your halibut in at pan and immediately squeeze the juice from half of one of your lemons to each fillet and pour lemon juice into the pan
8. Cook on high for 1 min then turn to Med heat and cover with a lid
9. Steam halibut in lemon jucie for 2 minutes and then flip
10. Steam other side of halibut for another 2 minutes (if your halibut fillet is thick you may need to add an extra min or two)
Ingredients:
2 – 4oz skinned fillets of halibut
Olive oil
Two lemons
4 tbsp Kevin’s Seafood Seasoning
-OR -
1 ½ tsp Salt
1 ½ tsp Ground Black Pepper
1 ½ tsp Garlic powder
1 ½ tsp Onion powered
½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
We like simple, quick and delicious in my family. We are a full working household and don’t have hours upon hours to dedicate to cooking a 5 course meal. This is my keto recipe I designed but the basic recipe can be adjusted to however you prefer. You can use any spices that suit your taste. My family likes a lot of flavor so we use A LOT but you can cut back on the seasonings to suit your taste.
